Getting Involved

The Ribble Coast & Wetlands depends on partner organisations to manage and conserve its unique landscape. These organisation need volunteers to help with this important work and as such help local people and communities to connect to the nature around them.

Action Ribble Estuary involves volunteer groups in projects on beaches and along tributaries of the River Ribble. Volunteers survey and remove litter, tackle invasive plant species and enhance the landscape. The co-ordinator can also point you to other organisations that may be of specific interest to you.
